The trail conditions ranged from fabulous and hard-packed to soft, squishy, and hike-a-bike worthy this morning. Island Hopper ice was slushy and a bit dubious looking. We avoided it.
I’d stay off the ice till it gets colder or you will find yourself splashing through deep, thick slush.
