Kingston Trophy, Sept 3

A message from Dan Marshall;

Hello MTB Kingston members! The Kingston Trophy / XCMarathon Championships are coming up fast: Saturday, September 3. This is the final event in a summer-long series of endurance mountain bike races across Ontario. Every year we finish the season at the MTB Kingston trails, and everyone describes as it as the hardest race in the series. And then they come back the next year and bring their friends!

We love the warm welcome MTB Kingston gives us each year, and as a way to say thanks we’re offering all MTB Kingston club members a 10% discount on entry into the Kingston Trophy / XCMarathon Championships. Just enter “MTB Kingston” in the Team/Club field on the registration form and we’ll take care of the rest.

Also, there is a lot of work to be done on race day (not to mention leading up to the event), so if you would like to volunteer to help at the Aid Stations, with parking or with course marshalling, drop us a line at info@substanceprojects.com.

For the most current event details visit substanceprojects.com and check out the Kingston Trophy page.

As part of the event, we are having a free kids race at 10am (just before the bigger kids race). It’s pretty relaxed event, with a kid-friendly course centred on the pump track and riding through the barn. Parents/guardians need to sign a waiver, but that is it. Adults, feel free to run alongside your kids and have fun. It’s a great way for the whole family to enjoy a day of riding.
