With the warm weather yesterday and lots of fat bike traffic, the trail was worked in nicely and froze into a perfect ribbon of icy snow to ride on today thanks to -15 temps overnight. The first half of home loop was snowmobile groomed last night so it’s even better. Second half is traffic groomed. Get out and ride, it’s all-time out there!
Studded tires are recommended as there are some icy spots in low lying areas and corners where melted snow pooled yesterday. People riding non-studded tires, be careful in corners and ride over shiny stuff with caution and you’ll be fine.
