Depending on your situational awareness when riding, you may or may not have noticed the hunting blinds located throughout Pete’s Loop. If you haven’t, now would be a good time to be thankful for the fact that we don’t have to contend with the likes of mountain lions on MTB Kingston’s trails… and that you’re a human and not a deer.
We are exceptionally lucky to have access to nearly 1,000 acres of private land throughout our trail network, and it is very rare that these gracious landowners ask for anything in return. If you’re a returning member, this temporary closure will not come as a surprise; These hunting blinds will be in use for the next two weeks.
Please respect this temporary closure and do not ride Pete’s Loop from November 2nd to 15th. Pete’s Loop will reopen on Monday, November 16.
All other trails remain open, conditions permitting.
