Kingston Police received a Facebook message stating a motorist had seen three (3) black bears in the field on the east side of Perth Road and near the top of the hill just north of Burbrook Road at 8:10 p.m. on Monday, August 17. The person stated they were last seen heading towards the tree line. We haven’t received any confirming reports and neither police nor any other authorities have directly observed them. The person stated one bear was larger than the other two and believed it may have been a mother and her cubs. Please be aware of this information, especially trail riders between Unity Road and Burbrook Road.
