If you’re unfamiliar with the app What3Words, the first time you hear someone using it, it may sound a bit odd. This app uses three random, seemingly meaningless words, to represent each 3m square on the globe. What’s important to note about this, is that emergency services are now also using it, and if you happen to be lost or injured in the woods, with the help of this app, your exact location can be easily pinpointed and effectively conveyed to those in a position to help.
Given the good cell coverage throughout our trail network and the close proximity to the city, this could prove extremely effective if used in a time of need.
Now, if someone could just explain to me why concequence.potentials.jeeps ended up where it is, using that last word, I’d appreciate it.
“It’s that easy.”
