Beginner Level 1 – Brand new to the sport, or still struggling with the basics of Mountain biking from lack or confidence or fear? We will explore the A, B, C’s of riding a bike, outside of a trail network to gain the confidence to “drop in” to trails like Demo, Home Loop and the Sand box.
Body position, Gearing, and Breaking are those foundational skills, along with Terrain Awareness, will give you the ability to make confident decisions on the trails!
Saturday July 9th 8:30am – 10:30am
Beginner Level 2 – So you know how to ride a bike? Gearing makes sense, you use your breaks, you can “make it” through trails like Demo and Home Loop, but there are still some errors that catch you up on the trail. Maybe you are “riding your bike” vs “driving your bike”? Bike body separation for pumping, turning and lifting your wheels over roots and rocks are still challenging you. Then this is your place to be. Practice drills for all of the above will help you become more adept at reading the trail and then responding with your body to get your FLOW on!

We will go all the way to the beginning and try and break some of those bad habits that may be putting you in danger, and teach you how to “read” the trail and move from “riding a bike” to “driving your bike”.
