MTB Kingston’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear MTB Kingston Members,

In these exceptional times, it is with great regret that we must acknowledge that we, as a registered Not-For-Profit Corporation, also fall under the Government of Ontario’s Non-Essential Business Closure, and must follow suit. Therefore, until further notice, all trails and facilities (ie. Clubhouse and Portable Toilet) at MTB Kingston will be closed.

The silver lining in all of this is that it is also spring thaw, and most trails would be closed anyway. This, however, will also delay our 2020 MTB Kingston online registration opening on Zone4, our Annual General Meeting, and put in question any group events scheduled for the season.

We recognize that this is what is best for the community during this global crisis and that extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Please continue to follow the guidance of Federal, Provincial and Public Health authorities, and practise strict physical distancing.

Above all else, please do not despair. We will continue to monitor the situation, reschedule our Registration, Tag Pick Up and AGM, and resume partial or full operation as soon as reasonably possible.

Together, we will get through this!

Sincerely,

Your MTB Kingston Board of Directors
